This summer has been filled with so many reel moments, each snapshot echoing the warmth and vibrancy of the season. On August 19th, my family and I decided to spend the day at Chuang Yen Monastery, an oasis of tranquility nestled amidst the natural beauty of New York. I had my trusty Nikon F3 by my side, along with the Nikkor-ais 35mm f2 lens, ready to capture the charm and spirit of the place.

This visit was extra special. Not just because of the location, but because Daddy let me shoot with his favorite film – the Kodak Porta 400. I had always heard him rave about its warm and exquisite color tones. Now, I got the chance to experience it myself.

School's out for summer, and it's not just the end of another academic year. This year, it's a significant milestone for me - I have graduated from fifth grade at Pingry School, and I'm preparing to embark on a new adventure. This fall, I'll be heading to Newark Academy for middle school, an exciting change that brings new experiences, fresh faces, and a beautiful campus full of history and charm.

During my spring break trip to Atlanta, Georgia, I had the chance to visit another amazing place – the World of Coca-Cola! After having a great time shooting Kodak Elite Chrome film at the Ponce City Market, I decided to use the same film to capture the magic and fun at this iconic attraction.

During my spring break, I had the chance to visit the Ponce City Market in Atlanta, Georgia, with my family. I still have many rolls of expired Kodak Elite Chrome film that my cousin gave me for practice, so I decided to use it. This colorful market is filled with boutique shops and a lot of neon lights, so it was the perfect opportunity to take photos.

After having a blast shooting my first roll of black and white film, I couldn't wait to try my hand at color film photography! Thanks to my cousin Angela, who generously gave me an expired roll of Fujifilm 200, I had the perfect opportunity to practice capturing the vibrant colors of the world around me.

I'm super excited to tell you about my first time ever shooting a roll of film with my new Nikon F3HP camera! My dad gave it to me as a gift, and I think it's so cool. It's a really fancy camera that were used by professional photographers back in the old days. There are lots of dials and switches, and it's a bit confusing for me, so my dad helped me with the settings. I just focused on choosing what to take pictures of and how to frame the scene. So, don't be surprised if some of my photos are a little out of focus or not perfectly exposed. I'm still learning! 😊

My dad recently gave me the most amazing surprise gift – a Nikon F3HP film camera! I've always loved taking pictures, and my dad has been my biggest supporter, encouraging me to capture as many memories as possible. He noticed my growing interest in photography with real cameras, where I could manually control all the settings by myself. That's when he decided to introduce me to the incredible world of film photography with this legendary camera.
